Natalie & family,

I am so sorry for your loss and my delay in writing! I know how close your family is and how difficult this is for all of you. You always had such wonderful stories to tell about your Dad. Knowing that your family is very religious, he picked a very holy time to choose to let go and be with God. Allow the happy memories & love comfort you in this time of great loss and know that he is no longer in pain, but instead sitting at the right hand of God & will always be there beside you. Please express my condolensces to your Mother and other family members. Nat, you & your family are in my thoughts & prayers- if there is anything I can do for you please let me know.

Marie, Alison, Natalie, & Family:
So sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved Husband/Dad/Grandfather. Know that your happy treasured memories will be with you in your hearts always. Thanking your Dad for being such a wonderful boyhood friend to my Dad growing up in the "Ward". Memories of my beloved Dad are with me always (even though is gone for 35 yrs - when he was 42). Would love to see the old pictures of our Dads together - I don't have too many pictures of my Dad when he was young. My thoughts & prayers are with you all at this extremely difficult time.
With deepest sympathy from my Mom (Shirley Roth Wanish) & my sister (Grace Wanish Leayman) as well,

Marie, Allison, Nat & Family,

I'm so sorry to hear of Alan's passing. You were all a very important part of my life as a kid and I know how much he will be missed. I remember how fun it was to be at your house for the holidays of just to have "dogs" in the yard after swimming. I think of those times often and am grateful that your family welcomed me the way they did. Uncle Alan showed me how to be a true family man and I have tried to live my life from what he taught me. This will be a difficult time for all of you, but I know you have each other and a strong faith to pull you through.

Love you all,

Rick

You don't know how sorry we are for you all during this difficult time. Uncle Al was such a great man and he will be missed a lot. He always had a smile and was a lot fun over the years. We will never forget the great Christmas Nights we had at your house having shared in his "Waussle Punch Bowl" and singing choirs at the piano. They were very special times in our lifes. He will be deeply missed. If there is anything we can do, please give us a call. Families are a great thing in times of need. Keep your memories close to your hearts! God Bless you all!
