Alan J. Scott
Alan J. Scott, 74, of Bath, died Sunday, October 8, 2006 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. Born in Irvington, N.J., he was the son of the late John and Wilma (Smith) Scott. He leaves his wife of 53 years, Dorothy A. (Hackel) Scott. Alan retired as a driver for Texaco Oil Company. He served in the Navy, from 1950-1954. Alan was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bath. Survivors: His loving family, wife; three sons, Robert A. of Bethlehem, William J. of High Bridge, N.J., John S. of East Hanover; a daughter, Donna M. Manburg of Milford, N.J.; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Danielle, Ashley, Brittany, Erik Scott, and Zachary Manburg. Services: A visitation will be Wednesday, October 11, from 6:30-8 p.m. with a prayer service following in the Snyder-Hinkle & Lunsford Funeral Home, 527 Center Street, Bethlehem. Contributions: May be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, attn: Memorial Fund, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
