Hi pappy. Today I miss you so much. I called my step son a stinker and my daughter asked me where I learned that word and I told her from you. She told she wishes she would have been able to meet you. I wish you could have met my children. They are all so amazing and they would have loved to have you for a pappy. I miss you so much every day. I love you pappy owl.

I told my husband it will never be the same working in the yard without your drive-bys, and I truly feel that way. You would always stop to say hello to me, always seemed to make me laugh somehow, and I will truly miss those few minutes spent chatting with you nearly every day. I find myself looking for your truck, expecting you to drive by, so sad that I never got to say goodbye to you. I miss you so much. And whenever I look at my winterberry holly I'll be thinking about you because I remember when you'd stopped by asking about it for your wife. When I told you it was a winterberry holly, and that a male and a female were needed for the female to produce berries, I'll never forget your response - "Oh, so they're getting it on, huh?" That's how I'll remember you :-) ...always so happy, so funny. I hope you're still laughing, still smiling, and that you're watching over all of us. My prayers are with your family that they take comfort in all their memories. You truly are a special person and will be remembered. <3

Pappy Owl, as my children would call him when they were younger. We all miss you deeply and wish you were here. It just is not the same without you in our lives. I miss the sound of your hummming and driving by all the neighbors and honking the horn. Life is not the same without seeing you everyday and telling you I Love You. Brionsky says hi and she loves you.
