Albert C. Laubach
Albert C. Laubach, 61, of Quakertown, died Friday, March 14, 2014, in the Hospice House of St. Lukes VNA. He was the husband of Cheryl (Mullarkey) Laubach. Born in Phila, he was a son of Florence (Lutteroty) Fitzgerald of Belmar, NJ and the late Albert Laubach. He was a safety director for Parkside Utility Construction, Harleysville, where he worked for over 25 years. Al served with the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was active for years with Quakertown youth sports programs, especially football and baseball, serving in various offices and coaching. More recently, his joy was spending time with his granddaughters, great-nephews, and great-niece. Survivors: Surviving with his wife; son, Thomas, wife Kelly; and granddaughters, Ella and Addisyn of Pottstown; daughter, Lori Murphy, Quakertown; and siblings, James Fitzgerald, Maryanne Barndt, Lisa Sodano. Services: Als life will be celebrated with a gathering of family and friends, Sunday, March 23, 1 p.m., at Hobos Restaurant, Quakertown. Interment in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown will be at the convenience of the family. The Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. We're so very sorry to have just learned about Al's passing.
Yours and our family were the first to live at Quakers Green and those days will always be remembered.
Al and I bumped into each other at Quakertown Family Restaurant and he was the same as I remembered more than 25 years ago with his affability and magnificent laugh.
Our hearts are saddened and you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Cheryl, I know that it has been awhile since I last got to see you guys, But it seems like just yesterday that we had so much fun together with John and Donna. I was deeply saddened to hear of Al's passing. He was so full of life and energy, and always so funny. He will be missed by many, but his memory will always bring a smile to my face. Cheryl, Tom and Lori,

I can't put into words the sorrow that I felt when I read of Al's passing. As you most definitely know, he was an amazing man. We are all so lucky to have been blessed with his presence in our lives. He will be missed in the physical form but will live on in our hearts forever. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers. Much love!
