Alfred N. Yelles
Alfred N. Yelles, 87 of Allentown died Monday, January 6, 2014. His wife, Carlotta C. (Spaar) died in May of 2005. Al was a graduate of Catasauqua High School and served in the Navy during WWII. Al worked at Mack Trucks before retiring in 1987. He was a member of Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, Allentown. Survivors: He is survived by his daughters, Donna Kersman, Allentown, Cheri wife of Joseph Kostelnick, Bethlehem and Karen wife of John Lee, Douglassville. He is also survived by a brother Stanley Yelles, Allentown; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by sister, Martha Seip; brothers, Norman Bond, Leon Yelles and Wilson Yelles; and grandson Keith Diehl. Services: Calling hours and services will be held Friday, January 10, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. at Boyko Funeral Home, 855 Lehigh St. Allentown. Interment services will be held Monday, January 13, 2014 at 11 a.m. Cedar Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, Allentown. Contributions: In memory of his wife and grandson contributions can be made to American Cancer Society or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Very sorry to hear about Al's passing. I was fortunate to be able to visit him in September with my dad. Albert was so kind and I will never forget all the veggies and potatoes he would bring us from the garden. He always had a smile on his face... always.

Al was a "Bingo Buddy" at Northampton Community Center for several years. He was always smiling and friendly and was very proud of his family.
