America Treglia
America Rick Treglia, 91, of Upper Nazareth Township, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013 in Gracedale. Born February 14, 1921 in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late Louis and Frances Treglia. He and his wife, the former Filomena Tusi, were married for 45 years. America honorably served his country in the US Army during World War II. Later he worked for the Brooklyn Navy Ship Yard and retired from the US Postal Service. He was a member of Our Lady of Pity in Staten Island, NY. Survivors: America is survived by his spouse, Filomena Tusi Treglia; three sons, Richard and his wife, Janice, of East Rockaway, NY, Arthur and his wife, Maria, of East Rockaway, NY, and Anthony and his wife, Teresa, of Upper Nazareth Twp.; one daughter, Jeanie Treglia of Lyncroft NJ; one sister, Alice Marghella of Long Island, NY; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Arthur; and a sister, Anna. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, January 18 in Holy Family Catholic Church, West Center St. and Forest Dr., Nazareth. Entombment to follow in Holy Savior Cemetery, Bethlehem. Viewings will be held from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, January 16, and 1 to 3 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, January 17 in the Schmidt Funeral Home P.C., 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth.
