Andrew S. Suter
Andrew S. Suter, 97, Williams Twp., died Monday, November 12, 2007 at Mary Ellen Convalescent Home, Lower Saucon Twp. He was the husband of Fay S. (Fluck) Suter and the late Geraldine (Sigley) Suter. Born in Bethlehem on December 10, 1909, he was the son of the late John and Lillie (Bast) Suter. Andy worked as a carpenter for Local 600, Bethlehem for 50 years and was co-owner of Bethlehem Mill Works for many years until retiring. He served his country honorably during WWII in the military police of the US Army. He was a member of St. Lukes Old Williams Lutheran Church, Williams Twp., Fraternal Order of Eagles, 50 year member. Survivors: In addition to his loving wife of 33 years, he is survived by daughter, Linda J., wife of Eugene B. Stanley of Wilson; granddaughter, Tamie, wife of Thomas Gilbert of Palmer Twp; great-granddaughter, Autumn Gilbert. Predeceased by granddaughter, Michelle J. Mamuzich (Pappys little angel). Services: Family and friends are invited to call 7-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown. Service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Lisa K. Borrell, officiating. The interment will conclude services at St. Lukes Old Williams Cemetery, Williams Twp.
