Anna Massa Obituary
Anna Mae (Fisher) Massa, of Allentown, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 14, 2013. She was the wife of Robert P. Massa, Sr. They recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Anna Mae graduated from Tamaqua High School and was a graduate of the Sacred Heart School of Nursing. She had a wonderful, fulfilling nursing career at Sacred Heart Hospital for 30 years before retiring in 1990. Her retirement years were filled with playing bridge, traveling, and enjoying her grandchildren. Survivors: Besides her husband, Bob; daughter, Sharon and her husband, Bob Crimian, of Warminster; sons, Bob Jr. and his wife, Cindy, of Wescoesville, and Kevin and David of Macungie. Her grandchildren, Becky, Bo, Sarah, Steven, Elyse, Bobby, and David. Many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters, Delores, Mabel, and Eleanor. Services: Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Flexer Avenue, Allentown. A viewing will be held from 9 to 10:15 a.m. in the church. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Allentown. David J. Boyko Funeral Home, Macungie is handling the arrangements. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart School of Nursing Alumni, 421 Chew Street, Allentown, PA 18102.

Robbie, Sharon, and Kevin: I was so sorry to just recently hear of your lovely mother's passing. I wish I had known; I would have come to pay my respects to you all and Uncle Bobby and your dear mother. She was a lovely, lovely woman. Please know that she will never leave you. Mr. Massa, Sharon, Robby, Kevin and families, I am saddened to hear of Anna Mae's passing. I have such fond memories of her. She was a kind-hearted person who graciously gave medical and parenting advice to anyone in need. She will be missed by all of us who were honored to know her. Love, Marian
