Mark C. Massa

Mark C. Massa, 72, of Horsham, PA, passed away on January 27, 2026 at the Horsham Center for Jewish Life. He was the beloved husband of Linda A. (Fisher) Massa for 38 years. He was born in Chester, PA on March 6, 1953 to the late Charles and Anna (Olshefski) Massa. Mark was a graduate of Penncrest High School and Widener University with a degree in Psychology and Sociology. Mark worked in the insurance industry and became a Senior Property Claims Examiner and worked for Philadelphia Insurance Company, until his retirement. He was a member of the Society of Registered Professional Adjusters. Mark was hard-working and dedicated to his job. One of the values he demonstrated was that of fairness and honesty which he showed in his dealings with the insured people with whom he interacted. He had an eclectic taste in music and a broad sense of humor. His wife, Linda, said that she fell in love with him due to that sense of humor and his ability to see people deeply. He loved spending time at the beach especially Stone Harbor, Avalon, Cape May and Rehoboth Beach. Mark was a long-time member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Huntingdon Valley. He was also an avid Eagles fan.
In addition to his wife Linda, he is survived by his two daughters Stephanie Massa, Arielle Massa (Trevor), his granddaughter Marigold "Goldie" Chatless, his brother Vincent Massa (Kathy), and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his siblings Charles Massa, Mary Tripoletti, and Elizabeth Wrzesniewski.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation from 10-11 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 2, 2026 at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 570 Welsh Rd., Huntingdon Valley, PA. Interment will follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler. Memorials in Mark's memory can be made by planting a tree in his memory through the funeral home's website.
