To Mrs. Schiavone, Tony Jr., Carol, and Sue:

I want to extend my condolences to each of you over your recent loss. I never had the pleasure to meet Mrs. Schiavone or Carol, but I worked with Tony Sr., Tony Jr., and Sue at Ess-Bee Knitwear a long time ago.
I lost touch with Tony after I left there, but I always thought of him and his family over the years and how they were doing. He would drive me to work every evening because at that time I didn’t have a car.
He was my boss on evening shift and was wonderful to work for. One thing I liked about him was his common sense and the ability to work and have fun at the same time. He had a great sense of humor, especially looking back now and realizing what kind of man and father he was.
He was very humble and soft spoken even though there were times he would joke around act like he knew everything. I knew he was a drafter-checker, but never knew he was an accomplished musician or was a Screaming Eagle. As I look back, I could really see Tony in his son. I can say a lot of things about Tony Jr. and Sue and how much I enjoyed knowing/working with them.
I guess I can see the real impact he must have made on his family and how much he really loved you all.
I’m sure you have wonderful memories. God Bless you all everyday and in every way!
Thanks for sharing his life.
Your Friend,
Scott Souders

Dear Eleanor, Sue, and family,
We will miss Tony very much-- he was always so friendly and ready to help. He welcomed us to the neighborhood when we arrived 17 years ago and got us out of some jams with his trusty snowblower. When he and Rudy worked on our mailbox, it was a real pleasure.
We will remember him as a friend with great fondness.
