Please accept my sincere sympathy on your loss. I worked with Albert at Phoenix Clothes, where I was in the Design Department. When Albert visited one of his friends at Long Island he'd always bring back "New York cheesecake" for me.
I remember a delicious lunch at their home where Albert serenaded us with his mandolin. And NO ONE made cannoli as good as Antonia. May happy memories of her help you through this difficult time. I'm sure Albert welcomed her with open arms.

Dear Cavallucci family:
We were sad to hear of your mother's passing. She was a kind and sweet lady who was always a pleasure to be around. She is someone I will always remember from those Club Ladies summer picnics at Cedar Beach because of her kindness and gentle nature and the food. (The food! My mouth is watering from the memories!) I believe she may be the last of the Club ladies. May she rest in peace.

I didn't know Toni well, but was fortunate to meet her at some of the Bigatel cousins' lunches, and of course I saw her at my Aunt Sarah Varricchio;s 100th birthday celebration last year. I wish I had had the opportunity to know her better, as she was a living link to our family's history. She always had a smile for me at the cousins' lunches I attended. I didn't realize that she was born in Quero, Italy, the town where all our Bigatel grandparents came from. My wife Mary Katherine and I visited Quero in October last year, and now our memories of that beautiful mountain town will remind us of her. We will miss her very much.

Dear Cavallucci family, when I think of your mom I always see her smiling face, and hear her kind voice asking me how I am. I remember her finding out it was my birthday at an intermural b ball game with the Phoenix boys. Later that night she called and invited us for dinner the next day. Of course the food was magical, and company so much fun, but when she came out with a cake for me I wanted to cry. No one had ever done such a nice thing for me. Phil used to talk about the great lunches she would make for all of them when they were just starting their careers. Valeria, you have followed in her footsteps. You are so much like her, always bringing wonderful food wherever you are invited. You will miss her, but you will never stop taking about her. I would ask Bobby how she was over the years, his response was always the same, "if I can catch up with her I will let you know"! Your mom was special, not just to your family, but to many more whose lives she touched. I am sorry I can't be with you on Saturday. Please know I will be there in spirt full of love for a wonderful lady. Rest in peace dear Toni.

To Valeria and the Cavallucci family. I am so very sad to hear of your mom's passing. While she will be re-united with your dad I believe she will also be greeted, at the table of our Lord, by my mom, Valeria (Krawczyk). Regretfully, it has been many years since I visited your mom (who would alter my suits). Though, I have heard many stories my mom shared of her friendship with your mom, known to me as Antonietta. My deepest sympathies to you and your family.
