Arland Schaeffer Obituary
Arland R. Schaeffer Jr., 60, formerly of Allentown, passed away Friday, July 11, 2008, in Hospice of the V.N.A. of St. Lukes, Lower Saucon Township. He was born in Allentown, a son of Ruth M. (Beck) Schaeffer of Allentown and the late Arland R. Schaeffer. He was a truck driver for many years. Arland was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Survivors: Mother; brother, Wayne and his wife Gail Schaeffer of Orefield; nieces and nephews. Services: Gravesite services 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, in the Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Allentown. Arrangements by Stephens Funeral Home Inc., Allentown. Contributions: Boy Scouts of America.

It has been many, many years since Arland and I last saw each other, but he has always been in my thoughts. Our mothers were friends when they were young and so were we during our years at Salisbury. May God bless you, Arland. Rest in Peace.

Sorry to here about your lost .I rember Arland when we were growing up and we all got together on pappy and grammy Schaeffers farm in Walnutport our step dad Kenny Stein took us there often.
