To all my second cousins, (who were really like first cousins because of our similar ages) and your families, my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your Mom. I have very fond memories of our childhood get togethers and most vividly of the Mountainville fire when we all "camped out" during the evacuation. I will always remember Arlene's infectious laugh, great smile and her sweet disposition. Indeed, the legacy of the thriving family today is testimony to the fact that Arlene and Louis must have done something very right.

So sorry to hear about Arlene's passing. Some of my clearest memories of my childhood were of the times she and Louis helped teach my sisters and brother and I how to swim, ice skate, and roller skate. Arlene was a lovely lady and always had a warm, cheerful smile. She'll be very missed. My condolences to all the Bauer family.

I will always remember Mrs. Bauer's kindness, calmness and quiet dignity. She and Louie did a great job raising a wonderful family.
