Arlene M. Snyder

Arlene M. Snyder, 98, formerly of Breinigsville, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at the Lutheran Home of Topton, Assisted Living. She was the wife of the late Carl G. Snyder. Born in Lynnport, she was the daughter of the late Llewellyn and Lizzie (Kunkel) Hamm. She was a member of the UCC Congregation of Ziegels Union Church, Breinigsville. For 28 years, she worked as a sewing machine operator at the former Wenton Shoe Factory in Kutztown. Formerly, she was a member of Fogelsville Sr. Citizens. She will be remembered for enjoying bingo and gardening.

Survivors: son Roger C. and his wife Lori M. of New Tripoli; daughters Sandra A., wife of Lee Mengel of Kutztown, Nancy J., wife of Larry Geiger of Orefield; sister Hermie F. Schappel of Allentown; 7 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter. She was predeceased by her brothers Elmer, Ernest, Lester, Harold Hamm, sister Betty Jane Wanamaker, and daughter in law Patricia Snyder.

Services: 11:00 AM, Monday, October 23 at Ziegels Church, 9990 Ziegels Church Road, Breinigsville, PA 18031. Calling hour to begin at 10:00 AM. Burial at Ebenezer Cemetery.
