Arthur Michael Lorrah
Arthur Michael Lorrah, 85, of Easley, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2013, at Baptist Easley Hospital. Born in Freemansburg, PA, the son of the late Arthur Wendell and Mary Zechmeister Lorrah, Mr. Lorrah retired as a long haul truck driver with Washington-Idaho Forest Products after twenty years of service. He was formerly a treasurer for the Teamsters Union. Mr. Lorrah was a US Navy veteran of World War II having served aboard the USS Siboney. Survivors: Surviving are his wife, Sara Elizabeth Deibert Lorrah of Easley; a son, Barry Robert Lorrah (Vivian) of Bethlehem, PA; a daughter, Susan Stone (Johnny) of Easley; three grandchildren, Sean Britt, Scott Lorrah, and Sheryl Lorrah; and two great-granddaughters. Services: Funeral services will be 7 p.m., Tuesday, July 23, 2013, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, with Kenny Woodall officiating. Condolences may be expressed online at www.robinsonfuneralhomes.com or in person at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, which is assisting the family. Contributions: Memorials may be made to the Parkinsons Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018.
