Miss ya mom. Thinking about ya here in Boston where one of your granddaughters is going to school, following in your medical career example. I continue to work with students... in Valley Forge and on school board and still volunteering..something I know you appreciated. It was nice 'seeing you' today here.

I met your son while volunteering at Cleveland elementary school. You raised a good kid (ha) . No really ! You were his best friend. God bless your family. You will be missed. I know I didn't know you personally, but knowing your son, I can tell that you were a great lady, a beautiful soul.

on behalf of family, we just want to thank all friends, family for all your kind thoughts, words, flowers, cards, donations, support. our common thread for this was a wonderful person. i'm biased of course. ha. 4am and i'm awake. strong storm approaching outside but just whisper of a wind on my inside. mom wasn't perfect, but she loved. loved to live life (nature, adventures), loved god and his mother mary, loved her job (it was a life long calling), loved her family. i already miss clipping news articles for you mom! i accidently went to introduce people to you at your funeral. jeez. i'll have an angel in the outfield when i play softball again. you taught me how to throw a ball in the basement. as a teacher now, i must say you were my first and best teacher. we'll all try to take your best qualities, live them in our lives, so that your impact will live on through us. you will continue to touch lives through the way we live ours. we owe it all to you mom (as you made us practice saying! ha)

to my best friend and gossip partner...i am so lost without you. i miss calling you 5 times a day to say.."oh yeah, i forgot to tell you...". For 18 out of 20 years you were a second parent helping me raise danielle and now you really trust me to fly solo with the job!?! My heart aches for you ma but this past week i watched how much faith you had and how strong it was and you never once asked, "why me?" never a thought for yourself. when you were diagnosed your first words to me were, " I am sorry i have to put YOU through this"! I wish I were a fraction of the person you were...i admire you...i miss you...i love you...now and always and forever. love your "little precious daughter" Bobbie (Barb)

God of life
those whom we love die
but our relationship with them continues.

Lead me to be thankful for all that they have shown me about
loving deeply,
living wisely,
and knowing You.

Help me to notice those moments of my life when I act, think or believe because of something that they brought to birth in me.

Remind me to pray for them and to ask for their assistance in my need.

Even though I miss them badly,
allow me to understand we still belong together and will one day embrace again in your kingdom
Amen

To all of Barbara's loves ~
Our thoughts and prayers continue for each of you as you travel this next part of the journey.
with much love ~
Sylvia

You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I'm sure your MOM was always a source of strength to you, now she is an angel watching over you! She was one special LADY, and will be missed. I can still see her smiling face, she was a great nurse and Cedarbook was fortunate to have had her taking care of the residents fir those 20 years.

Dear Barb and all family members of Barb (mother), Words can not express how very sorry I feel, about the the recent illness, & passing of Barb. When I started working at Cedarbrook about 15 or 16 years ago, on the 3 to 11 shift, I worked with Barb, who took me under her wing. She really taught me a lot on that shift, & I loved her. She truly was a saint, & thought the world of her children, & grandchildren. She truly is in a better place right now, but you all will reunite with her someday in heaven. God bless you, and my thoughts and prayers are with you as well. With sincere sympathy, Suzette

Strongest person I ever knew with the most caring heart. You were more than a grandmother, my second mother, with the best memories shared with you for 24 years of my life. You saved my life when I was at rock bottom and living with you for the past 2 years will be in my memories forever. I love you and miss you so much, rest in peace you are now in a better place with no more suffering.
Love you always
