Barbara Hemperly Obituary

Barbara Thomas Hemperly, 93, formerly of Emmaus, passed away on October 12, 2022 at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. She was the wife of Leon J. Hemperly. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Charles X. and Elda (Stichler) Thomas. She was a member of St. John's UCC, Emmaus.

Survivors: Husband; Sons, Bryan Hemperly, Craig Hemperly and his wife, Erika; Daughters, Jan Strobel and her husband, Daniel, and Susan Mitchell and her husband, Michael; 9 Grandchildren; 6 Great-Grandchildren. Barbara was predeceased by her brother, Charles Thomas, and her sister, Elda.

Services: 11 AM Friday, October 21, 2022 at St. John's UCC, 139 N. 4th Street, Emmaus, PA 18049. A calling hour will be held 10-11 AM Friday in the church. Interment to follow at Northwood Cemetery, Emmaus. Arrangements by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Homes, Emmaus, www.BKRFH.com

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church at the address listed above.
