Blanche Ashburner Obituary
Blanche utilized her skills as a seamstress while working as a sewing machine operator at SureFit, Inc. She loved crocheting afghans and enjoyed bowling with her daughters in leagues.
She will be dearly missed by her son, Robert F. Ashburner, Jr. and his wife, Melissa; daughters, Deborah Ashburner; Bonnie Gallagher and husband, Larry; and Cindy Giering and husband, Howard; as well as her sisters, Betty Bowers; Evelyn Danner; and Viola Ross; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Blanche was preceded in death by her daughters, Dawn Miller, and Catherine Ashburner.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 10-11 a.m. with a service to follow at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Guests will be asked to wear a mask upon entry. Burial will be held at Cedar Hill Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics. Condolences may be offered online at www.connellfuneral.com.
