Brian Unangst Obituary

Brian D. Unangst, 50 of Bath, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg, Bethlehem.

Born November 5, 1971 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Rev. David P. Unangst and Mary Ann (Holsinger) Unangst of Lititz. He and his wife Heather E. (Quay) Unangst were married on October 21, 1995.

He was a Sports Anchor for Blue Ridge 13 for over thirty years. Brian was a member of Bethany Wesleyan Church, Cherryville. He was an officer and canine handler of Wolfpack Search and Recovery and also a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association , King's Riders Chapter.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by daughters, Erin E. Unangst, Kristen E. Unangst, Katelyn G.L. Unangst and Allison J. Unangst, and sister, Julie C. wife of Jason Perkowski. He was predeceased by daughter, Emily R. Unangst.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 30, 2021, and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday, December 31, 2021 followed by an 11:00 AM funeral service on Friday, all at the Bethany Wesleyan Church, 675 Blue Mt. Drive, Cherryville, Pennsylvania. Masks are strongly requested. Interment will follow at the Covenant United Methodist Church Cemetery, Bath.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wolfpack Search and Rescue in care of the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067.
