I still miss her & think of her so often. She was a treasure in my life & heart. Her love of God was so evident. Joni misses her, too. What a gift it was knowing & loving her.

I am so sad to have not had an opportunity to say goodbye to Candy: I was out of town in her final days and only learned yesterday of her going to be with the Lord. I miss her so: her incredible sense of humor, her ability to not focus on herself in the midst of her pain, her beautiful voice and her depth of character that allowed her to withstand so many tragedies in her life.
My deepest condolences to her brothers and sisters. May you find comfort and strength in the memory of her smile.

To the Cunningham Family,
I just found apparently to late the services are over. I only wish I could have said good-bye. Candy worked for me at Granny Schmidt's bakery since day 1. We started it together. We had so much fun together every single day! Even though she battled her illness for years she never let it show. I will miss you more than you know. Rest in Peace my special friend. I love you! I am so thankful to be a friend of Candy's. To know her is to love her. She was a beautiful woman inside and out with a fabulous singing voice. She had the talent to be professional but was satisfied to just sing for Jesus every chance she got. Thank you for being my friend. Love you Candy and can't wait to see you again!!

It was truly a blessing for me to have met Candy. Although I only knew her a short while, her zest for living, her sense of humor, and her Christian faith were quite evident. I trust that she is now filled with joy and peace in Christ's Heavenly Kingdom, the New Jerusalem.

Candy and I worked together at the Lehigh Valley Crisis Pregnancy Center for several years. She loved her husband and family. She spoke often of Bridget and Carwin. Candy was like an older sister to me in those days, giving helpful advice to this newlywed. We shared many laughs and worked well together with a staff of 30 volunteers. I am so thankful for the opportunity to visit Candy in her home a little over a week ago. We laughed together, cried together, sang and prayed together. Candy was looking forward to seeing Jesus. I trust that she is with Him now.

Our deepest sympathy to the family that loved her and friends that were blessed by her compassion and caring and smiles. Dear Carwin you were such a good brother to help her always. To each family member we meet, we saw the love you gave and we pray for comfort at this time as Candy is with the God who loves us all and will never die. (Hebrews 7:25)
