I met Carl about 4 years ago. We had some nice dinners and interesting conversations. As conservative as he was, I am as liberal. During the 2016 presidential debates, we had some interesting debates. As a Northampton grad, we shared high school stories. We talked a lot about our families, and he shared how proud he was of his son Christopher. I am so sorry for your loss. I am shocked to learn of Carls passing and feel I have lost a friend.

If this is the gentleman I'm thinking of, I have fond memories as a young man, who also frequented area classic car shows. My Father and I usually ended up parking in close proximity to he and his partner by our class. They we're both kind folks! Thoughts are with his family in this time.

Carl, Remember when we sailed yourKool styrofoam sailboat down
the Lehigh and then could've get back upstream, so we got out and
walked the USS Kool all the way back home. We laughed and joked the whole way. I'll always remember your voice, I'll always remember your laughter, my oldest friend.

You filled my heart with love and joy. My life will never be the same without you. Although our time together was short, it was filled with laughter and love. You were so optimistic about life, even though you were dealing with some issues. You never, ever complained. Your smile, the memories, will be forever imbedded in my mind. Rest In Peace my love.

Sorry to learn of Carl's death. Although we were classmates, I'm sorry to say that I never got to know Carl until the last 15 years. I'm glad I did.
