Catherine M. Rosati

Rosati, Catherine M.Catherine M. (Rosati) Rosati, 91, of Port St. John, FL, formerly of Bethlehem, died on June 19, 2015. Born in Trenton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Imelide (Forconi) Rosati. Catherine was preceded in death by her husbands Thomas L. Rosati and Lt. Richard Castiello. She was a member and dedicated volunteer of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Catherine graduated from Liberty High School and Bethlehem Business School. She was proud to have held her first job working in her father's business. She was employed as a secretary at Bethlehem Steel Co. for ten years and Bethlehem Area School District for fifteen years, where she retired in 1989. She was a talented seamstress, fabulous cook, and above all, passionate about family. She was considered the family matriarch, often providing guidance and support and touching the lives of many. She was strong in her Catholic faith and a dedicated servant of our Lord. Survivors: Son, Thomas L. Rosati (MaryAnn), of Port St. John, daughter, Kathleen A. Rosati of Bethlehem, and sister, Susan B. Rosati of Port St.John. In addition, grandchildren, Vincent (Lisa), Steven, and Olivia, three great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Catherine was pre-deceased by her sister, Lucia (Rosati) Basile Services: A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated June 27 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 3219 Santee Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18017. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. in the church. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
