As I look at the obituary picture you have that beautiful smile that I will miss. We were always so glad to see each other and you always had a kind word for me.You will be missed by me and many. To be absent from the body is to present with the Lord. We will see each other again and we will have kind words for each other. To the Brown and Callaway family may you be comforted by the fact that Charlene is no longer in pain, she now is healed on the other side.

My sincerest condolences to the family of Charlene Brown...
She was an amazing woman! After I moved to Connecticut to be near my children and grandchildren, Charlene was one of the precious members of Saint James who "kept an eye" on my mother until her passing in 2011. My mother really appreciated Charlene, and I'll be forever grateful to her for being so wonderful to my mom. Charlene always had a pleasant smile on her face, and was such a kind and thoughtful person. She was a very active member at St. James, and I believe she was a true follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. She will be greatly missed! My wish is that God will grant your family continual strength, during your time of bereavement and beyond.
