Dottie and the Briner family, your Chuck was certainly one of a kind. He was such an interesting personality and a wonderful friend. We miss him terribly. He was so full of life and had such a great sense of humor! We loved him. He never let us down. My sympathy to you all. Chuck was quite a guy.

Dorothy, the Briner family and friends; "Chuck" will be sorely missed by his Brothers, Comrades and Friends of the China-Burma-India Veterans Basha. He was always full of fun and all who knew him in our association enjoyed his visits with us. We thank Chuck for his service to our country. He was a proud soldier and servent. It is so sad these days to lose so many of our comrades of years ago. We see them fade away so often these days, since we are generally of the same age.
We CBI Veterans extend our most sincere concolences to all, family and friends.
May God comfort you in this time of grief and loss.
Wendall A. Phillips, National CBI Veterans Chaplain.
