Charles Gunkle Obituary
Charles E. Gunkle, 80, of Bethlehem Twp., died Wednesday in his home. He was the husband of Eleanor (Frisoli) Gunkle for 57 years. He was a Navy veteran. Charles was an English teacher for the B.A.S.D. for many years, until retiring. Survivors: In addition to his wife; are daughters, Terry (Tom) Bolick, of DE, Allison (Norman) Carlisle of Bethlehem Twp.; sons, Guy (Cynthia) Gunkle of Easton, Allen (Heidi) Gunkle of Elizabethtown, Richard (Suzy) Gunkle of Bethlehem, Twp.; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Dorothy Falcone of Moorestown and David (Betty) Gunkle of Bethlehem. He was predeceased by his grandchild, Taylor. Services: 11 a.m. Memorial, Saturday, May 5, 2012 in Life in Christ Church, 51 E. Hillmond St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. It is amazing how things come in to play. Just the other day I had sent a Text to Terri. A few days later I received a remembrance e-mail from Legacy for Charles. Thinking of the family and I hope everyone is well. God Bless Charles and keep him close. Love Always, Angela

Sorry to here about Charles. I will miss my buddy. Stories! Yes, he had good stories. Some True / some? I will always remember calling him. He would say, " I know who this is." I would say, " You do. " He would say, " A Frisoli." The best part is he had 4 guesses. God Bless everyone in your family. I send my love to all.
