Clair Carbonell Obituary
Clair Angela Carbonell, 77, of Allentown, died Sunday, April 13, 2008 in the VNA Hospice of St. Lukes. She was the widow of Rodrigo Tabor Carbonell. Born in Bremerton, Wash. on June 16, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Clarence E. and Angela (Marwick) Herrington. Clair worked as a clerk in the disbursement office at Willow Grove Naval Air Station for many years prior to retiring in 1994. Survivors: Daughters, Liuana A. Cofrancesco, Leilani A. Scheirer; sons, Laurence P. Ching, Reynaldo Carbonell, Rodrick J. Carbonell; four grandchildren, Cory, Joshua, Patrick, Sara; four great-grandchildren, Rachelle, Hannah, Collin, Kacie. Services: celebration of life, will be held at 5 p.m. April 16 in the Museum of Indian Culture, 2825 Fish Hatchery Road, Allentown, PA 18103. Arrangements, David J. Boyko Funeral Home. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Museum of Indian Culture.

Thank you for letting me know about the passing of your mother, please accept my condolences. Although we did not get the opportunity to meet, I feel like I already knew her. We were 3rd cousins on my maternal side and we shared family info. She was very proud of her family. I'm sure she is smiling down on us, with a twinkle in her eye.

My sister and I were in contact with Clair through our interest in Family History. I had hoped to take Clair to visit Tullynessle in Aberdeenshire on her next visit to Scotland but unfortunately her trip had to be postponed. Our heartfelt sympathy is sent to the family .

I am so happy that we were neighbors and I'm so thankful that she was apart of our lives. She will be truly missed, she was a wonderful friend.
