Clinton C. Lewis
Clinton C. Lewis, 76, of Slatington, formerly of Memphis, TN, passed away May, 10 2011. He was the husband of Marlene (Jaskolski) Lewis, they celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary this past March. Born in Memphis, TN, he was the son of the late Clinton C. and Mildred (Liles) Lewis. Clinton served in the Navy during the Korean War aboard the USS Hannah and USS Los Angeles. he was a radar technician for the Federal Aviation Administration for over 30 years, last stationed at Willow Grove Naval Air Station in Horsham, PA. An avid reader, Clinton enjoyed fishing, had his pilots license and loved flying, but his greatest joy came from his family. Survivors: Wife; son, Robert C. Lewis of Slatington; daughter, Julie and husband John Lordan of Perkasie; son, Paul C. Lewis and his former wife Jessica of Slatington; son, Michael C. Lewis of Slatington; grandchildren, Clinton and wife Amy Lordan, Daniel and wife Regina Lordan, Katherine Lordan, Corey Lewis, Shelby Lewis, and Alyssa Lewis; great grandchildren, Elizabeth Lordan, Daniel Lordan and Dominic Lordan; brothers and sister, William C. and wife Sue Lewis, Betty A. Lewis, Robert C. and wife Judy Lewis; nieces and nephews. Clinton was predeceased by his sister, Evelyn Stacks. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday May 14, 2011, Assumption BVM Catholic Church, 649 W. Washington St. Slatington. Calling, 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Interment is private. Arrangements by Harding Funeral Home,25-27 N. Second Street, Slatington. Contributions: Contributions can be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
