Corinne A. Szewczuk

1936 - 2023

Corinne A. Szewczuk, 87, of Escondido, CA, died Friday, July 28, 2023. She was the wife of the late John M. Szewczuk and the late Eugene L. Brenner. Born January 14, 1936, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Paul E. and Anna M. (Haas) Yarnell. She worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant for over 20 years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed making holiday candy and cookies, making occasional trips to local casinos with her husband, John, and caring for her two cats, "pretty girls", Bonnie and Buffy. She especially enjoyed time with her family and her two grandsons and spent the last five years living with them in California.

Surviving is her son, Joseph E. Brenner, and his wife, Rita Ann of Escondido, CA; grandsons, Joseph C. Brenner of Signal Hill, CA and Thomas J. Brenner of Escondido, CA. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Michele Brenner.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Monday, August 7th at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, 920 S. 2nd St., Allentown. Friends and family are invited to call from 9:00-10:00 AM prior to mass at the church. Interment to follow in Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Cemetery, Whitehall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
