Cynthia Bednar

Cynthia Bednar, 66, of Bethlehem died Thursday, June 23, 2016. She was born in Bethlehem, the daughter of Bernadine (Kuruc) and the late Kenneth Bednar. She was a member of Incarnation of Our Lord Parish and the Slovak Catholic Sokols, Bethlehem. Cynthia was also a member of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association. She graduated from Kutztown University and received her master's degree from Chestnut Hill College. Cynthia retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, working most recently as a case worker. Survivors: Cynthia will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Bernadine Bednar of Bethlehem; brother, Stephen Bednar and his wife Mary Ann of Bethlehem; Nephews, Daniel Bednar of Texas and David Bednar and his wife Jamie of Bethlehem; great niece, Reagan and great nephew, Parker. Services: A viewing will be held on Monday, June 27, 2016 from 10-11 a.m.at Incarnation of Our Lord Parish, 617 Pierce St. Bethlehem, PA 18015. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
