Daniel Leaver Obituary
Daniel D. Leaver of Allentown, passed away peacefully in his home on February 1, 2013 after years of illness. Born on January 16, 1960 he was the son of Melvan and Marilyn Leaver of Slatington. He was married to Jeannie (Billman) Leaver, a resident of Good Shepherd Home in Allentown. Dan had been a welder and held various jobs throughout his life, but his real love was music. He played drums for most of his life. He was very proud of Joshua Leaver, his son from a previous marriage to Kimberly Leaver of Macungie, who recently graduated from Penn State Law School. Survivors: Wife, Parents, Son, brothers; Michael Leaver and wife Tammy, Melvan Leaver Jr. and wife Karen. Sister; Angela wife of Rene Velasquez. Aunt Rose Leaver. Nephews & Nieces; Becky, Megan, Steve, Patrick, Matthew, Nicole, and Laura. Services. 11 a.m. Saturday February 9, 2013 Harding Funeral Home 25-27 N. Second St, Slatington PA Calling hour 10-11 a.m. at the funeral Home. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to charity of ones choice.

Although it has been close to 40 years since I have seen Danny, I will never forget all my fond memories growing up with Danny and the fun we had in the Boy Scouts back in the day.
