Six years gone but you´re with me everyday. Until our next dance in the sky, my friend, you are still so loved and still so missed here on earth.

Danny:
It's almost a year since we parted. Yet I see you in everything I do, and see. Like, your Teddy Bear Sleeping bag from Nana, your artwork, the little things you so dearly loved to hoard. The Beanie Babies, legos, Knex, skate Boards and Snow Boards and all your old clothes.
Charlie raised money for a tree, It was planted in Cedar Beach Park, not too far from Kyles, on your birthday.
I like to go there and sit, and just remember all the things we did, you did. I have so very many memories of wonderful times at the beach, in Spain, at Disney and especially, Halloween.
You are amazing. I will never stop thinking of you, wishing you were back with me and loving you forever. Mom

Dan was one of the most talented and humble people I have ever met to this day. He had a special talent of making everyone in the room laugh or make somebody's day. He was responsible for one of the most hilarious days in my entire Central Catholic career:
One day, Dan asked our Theology teacher to go to the bathroom. He was gone for an unusually long time. When he finally returned, his entire uniform was on backwards. Button down shirt, tie, belt, dress pants, and even his baby pink book bag. His shoes may of been on backwards too, but I still cannot figure out how he managed to pull that off. He walked into the classroom as if everything was completely normal, and barely even cracked a smile. He sat down in his seat for 30 seconds until he was inevitably sent to the principal's office. I think he would agree it was well worth it. As usual, he put a smile on everyone's face in a way that only Dan O'Brien could pull off.
Dan is someone who had a special gift of bringing light into everyone's life that he crossed paths with, and he will always have a special place in my heart.
Rest easy, my friend.

Something I always saw in Dan was his beautiful child-like innocence. I see it in his pictures and I saw it Everytime I saw him. It is heartbreaking for the world to lose Dan's beautiful, carefree, innocent soul. Condolences to all.

Dan,
I was new at our school and I was alone. You approached me and befriended me at a difficult time. We had a lot of good memories. You were such a gentle guy. Your friendship meant a lot to me back then and I'll never forget it. Thanks man. You will be missed by many.

Oh man I can't even put in words how much this hurts. Dan was a loving, gentle kind soul and he will be truly missed. Dan was my step brother and my son's step uncle and I have so many fond memories of him. I'll never forget the summer of 2016 my son, my boyfriend and I went to a fireworks show with Dan and most of the time we were there Dan would take my little boy over the park and play. And my son had a blast. When the fireworks started he held my son and pointed the fireworks out for him. That same summer we went to the Carbon county Fair and Dan rode the carousel with my son so many times I thought he was going to be sick. Dan you will be truly missed so much! Fly high Dan

Always in my heart. I see you in all your beautiful artwork, when I hold your kitten, when I see your friends, when i hug your brothers, when I see a kid on a skate board and in every song, flower and blue sky. I've loved you every second of your life and will never stop. Rest now, precious son. Mom
