David Pengelly Obituary

David L. Pengelly, 70 of Allentown passed away at home on January 9, 2024. He was the husband of Alanna C. (Fox) Pengelly, they were married 49 years on November 14th. David was born in Allentown on May 2, 1953 son of the late Albert L. and Dorothy E. (Meier) Pengelly. He was a truck driver for Beverage Transportation which became The Diamond Group retiring after 30 years. He attended the Lehigh Valley Free Presbyterian Church in Walnutport. David loved to check the weather and was a devoted family man to his wife, three daughters and their families.

Survivors: Wife Alanna, daughters Stephanie A. Jarrell wife of Thomas of Easton, Laura S. Pengelly of Allentown and Claire M. Pengelly of Easton; five grandchildren Leanna, Justin, Timothy, Jacob and Lorelei; sisters Ellen Patrick of KY and Gail Hurson of Breiningsville.

Predeceased by a brother Michael H. Pengelly.

Viewing & Service: Monday January 15, 2024 from 6PM to 8PM and Tuesday January 16, 2024 from 10AM to 11AM followed by the service at 11AM at the Sell-Herron Funeral Home 1145 Lehigh Street Allentown.
