David had a quick sense of humor and those at Moravian Village always enjoyed being with him. My husband David and he got along well because they had the same kind of sense of humor. I always enjoyed his friendship.

Nancy and I often talk about our David's. Both had a sense of humor and loved people and made them feel like friends. I still miss him.

So sorry for the loss of such a wonderful person with a great wit and friendly manner. We will remember most getting to know him better when we all wintered in Maine. We have many fond memories of breakfasts at Ned's, soup and salad dinners on cold winter nights, and lovely braided rugs. Dave will always be a part of our love of Maine.

Nancy and Family,
Wonderful memories of Dave in Maine - going to the movies and dinner, sitting by the lake feeding nuts to the chipmunks and of course his wit. Dave is missed but now he is in a place of peace.
Love, Gail

Nancy and Family,
I am terribly saddened to learn of Dave's passing. He was a good friend and enjoyable company. Always congenial, witty, honest and tolerant with a healthy dose of mischief and cynicism just beneath the surface. Dave was there with a kind word or an extended hand to those who needed help. The world was always a better place because Dave was in it. I join you in celebrating the man he was and in mourning his loss.

Nancy,
I was so saddened to read of Dave's passing. It's been a while since I 've seen both of you, but I've thought of you frequently. I loved you both and cherished our times together. What fun the braiding camps were. Dave certainly had the gift of making strangers quickly feel like long time friends. I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Nancy, Steve, and Family,

I am so sorry to hear about Dave's passing. I enjoyed our birthday lunches with him and several other colleagues. It was always a fun time when he was there with his quick wit and sense of humor. He was not just a client but a true business partner and friend.

He was so very proud of all of you and his grandchildren. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Words fall short of expressing my sorrow. I am sure he will be missed.

Dave was truly a great guy. I will always have great memories of him and I want you to know that I share in your grief at this time. I am thinking that I want to tell you that we now have an angel watching over us all but I can see Dave sitting across the table from me and smiling and laughing with that infamous grin and asking me, "Really? Are you serious"?!

Rest in Peace my Kind, Gentle, Funny, and wonderful friend!

I joined Bethlehem Steel in 1986, and met Dave as a member of the Industry Marketing Group. Dave was a great colleague and friend, and made me feel right at home in the Bethlehem Steel family, despite the fact that I came from outside the immediate area. His dear wife Nancy gave us a beautiful handmade rug for our wedding which we still have 24 years later. We are all diminished by Dave's passing, and I wish God's peace upon the family as they cope with this inestimable loss.
