Deforrest Forry R. Beidler, 84 of Bethlehem died on March 29, 2012 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. The beloved husband of Sandra L. (Trout) Beidler, they were married 47 years.Forry was born in Bethlehem, son of Jacob and Hattie (Reiss) Beidler, one of 10 children. Forry graduated from Liberty High School with the class of 1946. Forry started his professional career as a manager at local Acme stores, then went on to become a partner at Service Tire Company of Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton. Later Forry became the owner of Cases Tire Company in Easton before retiring in 2001.Forry was a 54 year member, 32nd degree Mason in the Bethlehem, H. Stanley Goodwin Lodge #648, Valley of Allentown, where he was a proud member of the waiters and spent countless hours volunteering in the service of others. He also volunteered his knowledge, time and skills at the Keystone Miller Blood Center and Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Forry and his family are members of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Third Avenue in Bethlehem where he served on the Property Committee, the Apartment Board and various committees. Survivors: Wife, Sandra; sons, Daniel L. Beidler, husband of Wendy L. of Coplay and Michael Lee Beidler, husband of Kelly W. Williams of Washington, D.C.; sister, Harriet Leibinger, wife of Thomas of Bethlehem; brother, Erwin Beidler, husband of Joan of St. Michaels, Maryland; two granddaughters, Ashley and Katie, daughters of Daniel; daughter, Sandra Townsend of Allentown. Services: A Celebration of Forrys Life will be at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Bethlehem on May 5, 2012 at 11 a.m. Funeral arrangements are by the John F. Herron Funereal Home and Herron Crematory, 458 Center at Market Street, Bethlehem. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorials to the life of Forry, can be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Property Committee.
