Della F. Batch

1935 - 2023

Della F. Batch, 88, of Bethlehem Township, PA passed away to join her Lord and family on August 24, 2023 in her home. She was born Maria Immacolata Della Fera on May 1, 1935, and was the daughter of the late Frank and Maria (Viscomi) Fera. Della was born in Washington, DC and moved with her family to Phillipsburg, New Jersey at age ten. She graduated from Phillipsburg High School in 1953. Della worked as a secretary for Easton National Bank before becoming a wife and full time Mother. She later worked as manager of Colony III and Plum's, Bethlehem, for nine years.

Della was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. Batch, Sr., brother Salvator Fera and two infant granddaughters (Garza). Della was the matriarch of her family and showered each member with love. She will be missed by her children, Robert J. Batch, Jr. (Joan), Karen Batch James and Pamela Batch Garza (Ronald). She will also be missed by her treasured grandsons Alexander Batch, Andrew Batch; her granddaughters Sarah James and Gabrielle Garza; and her great-granddaughter Natalie Batch. Extended family and bosom friends also cherished Della, known to some as "Cindy". She was a faithful Eagles fan – Go Birds!

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 29, in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Road, Bethlehem, PA at 11 AM with entombment to follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
