Mr. Chattin was ostensibly the most influential individual in my early career, first as a teacher then as an advisor enabling me to enter the seed industry in 1966 by giving me a very positive reference to Ben Seem of Seem Seed Farms in Emmaus. We exchanged holiday cards and messages for decades. I am forever grateful to him!

To Everyone in the Chattin Family: I would like to express my deepest condolences in the loss of your Husband, Father and Grandfather, Donald Sr. He definitely lived a good long life and may all your bitter sweet memories see you thru this most difficult time. They say once you get past the first year anniversary it'll get better, but it will never get any easier to say the final good-bye to a loved one. I myself never had him as a PHS teacher, but my one older sister, Dorothy, was the first female to enroll in his Ag class. This was a very big farming community back in the day. Peace be with you.

Aunt Marie, Donny & Peter, I am so sorry for your loss. May the wonderful memories and wonderful times you had together sustain in this time. I'm sure Uncle Donald and Wendy are whooping it up in Heaven with all the other Chattin family members.
