Douglas Schaedel Obituary
He was a graduate of Allentown High School Class of 1961. He was a steel worker at Fuller-F.L. Smidth Co., Allentown for 40 years retiring in 2009. He was a member of Grace U.C.C., Hogans, Fearless Fire Co., and Mountainville Fire Co. where he served as Treasurer for several years. He was a 32nd degree Mason of New Temple Lodge, Allentown. Butch enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors: Daughters, Tami Koncz and husband Rick, Kimberly Kelley and husband Wayne, Debi Schaedel, Deana Gallagher and husband John; sons, Douglas B. and wife Harley, Daniel Zosky and wife Karen; 11 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Clanna Newhart and husband William; brother Gary Schaedel and wife Paulette. He was predeceased by son Robert Schaedel, grandson Anthony Schaedel, and sister Judith Schaedel.
Services: 1pm Thursday, March 23, 2023, at the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home Inc. 46 E. Susquehanna St. Allentown. A viewing for family and friends will be held noon to 1pm. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Allentown.

Butch was a wonderful man, he will truly be missed. There are many stories of my life that include him, so many that bring a smile or a full laugh. I will always carry Butch in my heart. Know that you are all in our throughts and prayers.
