Dear Dolores & Family, We do know that there will be some difficult days ahead as you all go on without your dear husband Ed - Father and Grandfather. We do grieve with you, but we do not sorrow as if there is no hope. We rejoice to know that Brother Ed knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that the LORD Jesus Christ had make his spirit alive and allowed Ed to trust fully in the finished work of Jesus Christ of dying on the cross for the sins of His people. What a great Savior we serve! And knowing that today, Easter is really the focal point of all history, we gladly proclaim with the saints of all the ages: Hallelujah! Christ is risen! Christ is risen indeed!
Dolores, we know too that Jesus is real in your life. As He promised, He will never leave you nor forsake you. It is also wonderful that you are loved dearly by your children Vivian and her husband Troy; and Roger and his wife Mary Ann and their families, your other relatives – and by many friends.
It is hard to say ‘goodbye’ here on earth, but we do rest in God’s promises. “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosover liveth and believeth in me shall never die.” John 11:25-26a. “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28.
We do love you, Dolores.
