I WAS SO SORRY TO HEAR OF EDITH PASSING AWAY. I WORK IN THE RESERVATIONS DEPT. OF THE BUS COMPANY THAT TRANSPORTED EDITH TO SEVERAL PLACES. WE BECAME FRIENDS OVER THE PHONE. SHE WANTED TO MEET ME IN PERSON SO WE COULD GO OUT FOR LUNCH OR JUST GET TOGETHER AND CHAT. I WANTED TO MEET HER AND DID TRY TO MAKE TIME TO MEET HER. UNFORTUNATELY, WE NEVER GOT THE OPPORTUNITY. I THOUGHT ABOUT HER OFTEN AND TRIED TO CONTACT HER ON SEVERAL DIFFERENT OCCASIONS, NOT KNOWING SHE HAD MOVED TO FLORIDA. SHE WAS A SWEET PERSON. WHEN WE SPOKE, I WOULD ALWAYS ASK HER HOW SHE WAS DOING. MOST OF THE TIME HER ANSWER WAS "NOT GOOD." SHE WOULD TELL ME OF HER TROUBLES AND I WOULD ALWAYS SAY I WOULD KEEP HER IN MY PRAYERS AND HOPE THAT SHE WOULD FEEL BETTER.
I MADE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO FIND OUT WHERE SHE WAS, BUT HAD NO LUCK.
I WISH FOR HER TO HAVE PEACE AND NO MORE SUFFERING. WE DID NOT GET TO MEET ON EARTH, BUT SOMEDAY WE WILL MEET IN HEAVEN....GOD SPEED, EDITH...........

I am so sorry to hear of Edith's passing. She used to come into the Credit Union where I work and I always enjoyed talking to her and listnening to the stories she told me about her life. She had also given me a book of the beautiful poems she has written and I will cherish it always. I haven't seen her in a few years but often think about her. My deepest condolences to her family. Rest in Peace, Edith.
