Edward Dugan Obituary

Edward "Ebby" Michael Dugan, loving father of three daughters, left this earth on Friday, December 18, 2020. Edward was born in Bethlehem, PA the son of the late Anna (Sabota) and Edward Dugan. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1966 and remained devout in his faith throughout his life.

Ed left his hometown to attend college at Youngstown State University and graduated in 1971 with a bachelor's degree in Business. During his time at YSU, he was the President of Alpha Phi Delta fraternity and has remained close with his fraternity brothers to this day. Ed also took great pride in his work as an industrial engineer serving several companies including Chrysler Corporation, Shenango China and Harley-Davidson.

After college, he soon married and had three wonderful children- Natalie, Angela and Alison. Ed was known to describe his three children as his proudest accomplishment.

Ebby was a passionate football fan, with special love for the Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State. On Sundays, you could find him watching games with his brother Jimmy and nephew Kyle.

He will be especially remembered for his sense of humor and love for his mother, children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughters, Natalie (Andrew) Cassidy, Angela Dugan and Art Lowe and Alison (Erick) Tobin; grandchildren Nona, Ethan, Asher, Josephine and Augustus; two sisters Sheila (John) Clark and Anne (Wayne) Ferencin, his brother James (Regina) Dugan, sister-in-law Kathleen Dugan as well as several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his younger brother, Peter Dugan.

Ebby's daughters would like to express their immense gratitude to Regina Dugan as she looked after their father with great compassion over the years.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, a private family graveside service will be held summer 2021.

In lieu of flowers, Ebby's daughters would like all contributions to go towards helping provide meals for the frontline workers at St Luke's Hospital. Please contact Angela, Ed's daughter, via email at [email protected] if you would like to donate to this unique and special cause in his honor.
