Edward Hassick Obituary
Edward was a graduate of Bethlehem Vo-Tech and played football for Liberty High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1952-1956, with fond memories of his time in the Mediterranean and Caribbean. He worked for the Bethlehem Steel Corp. and retired as a machinist in the No. 2 Machine Shop. He was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.
Edward will be lovingly remembered as a great man who always strived to do the right thing. He was a Penn State fan and above all loved his family.
Edward will be dearly missed by his wife, Ann; daughter, Judy Hassick; son, Edward Joseph Hassick, Jr. and his wife, Roseann; grandchildren, Edward Joseph Hassick, III and his wife, Gina; Coriann Hassick and fiancé, Giulio; and Michael Hassick; great grandchildren, Jace, Weston, and Riley Hassick; and sister, Suzanne Finn. He was preceded in death by his siblings, George, Paul, Irene, and Ann.
A funeral service will be officiated by Rev. Mike Button on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. The burial will be private.
