I could write a book on what I'd love to say about my dearest friend; but saying how much I miss him is truly an "understatement". He was in my life when I was just in school; was the priest who married me and my husband in 1964 and then baptized my children. If we weren't together, we were only a phone call away; and he taught me that our Father is only a prayer away. At the time he came into my life; I was a member of St.John's United Church of Christ. My mother had just recently re-married my father and then my two younger sisters were baptized Catholic. He's the one that brought me back to the Catholic Church and opened up Heaven for me. Somehow he knew that I would need to get closer to our Lord, in order to be able to "understand" and deal with the losses I would have to endure during my life. ( the deaths of my two dearest friends; Fr. Ed and. Fr. John Auchter, who Father Ed introduced me to; when we moved into Reading); and then the love of my life and father of our twelve children. I can say from my heart, there is never a day that he is not in my thoughts and prayers. and I'm sure we will all be together again. Love never dies!!

Father Ed was part of our family for many years. When he was in England during the war he stayed with my nana and was part of our family through 4 generations. My nana, my mum and aunt, myself and my cousins and then my daughter. He was so loved and is so missed. I loved him with all my heart.

Father Ed, I don't know where to start. You were in my life since I was seventeen, when you remarried my parents, at Sacred Heart in West Reading. Then you baptized my sisters and then me. You married my husband and I and then our children. You have been my mentor, my confidante my Dearest friend. You truly are one of God's finest and now you'll get your reward for all of that love that you sread throughout the "world", in Jesus's name. You were one that I always thought I'd have in my life "forever", but "you" taught me that I "will"! My heart is aching now, dear friend, but we'll see each other again. Until then, Keep Me in your prayers as you will always remain in mine.

Father Mac was my rock and my friend for over 60 years. since he was at Notre Dame here in
Betlehem. He was a man of the people, open to everyone. We spent many hours together, and I will have a big hole in my heart now that he has passed. God will have a great assistant in heaven to help him.

Father, you were one of the best teachers at Marian! I remember your conviction, your humor, your love of teaching ... and your arrival to school on your motorcycle. You were one of a kind ... the GOOD kind. Thank you for being there during the high school years. Rest in Paradise, Father. You will be forever loved.

Father Mac I don't know where to start. He was a saint he's been in our lives 40 years. When my father was dying he was there every Thursday to pray over him and in the hospital he came to be by his side and pray. I loved listening to his stories about his life he was an amazing man. Father Mac I know you are up there with all the people you love. I know my dad is sitting with you rejoicing. Catholic Church will never be the same I love you Father Mac. RIP
