Edward Francis Olearczyk III

Olearczyk III, Edward FrancisEdward Francis Olearczyk, III, 24, of Allentown, PA, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2015 at Lehigh Valley Health Network Hospice in Allentown surrounded by his family. Born in Wynnewood, he resided in Doylestown and Allentown. He began as a student at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parochial School, Doylestown, graduated from Central Catholic High School, Allentown, and most recently attended Kutztown University, Kutztown. He was a dean's list student and an active member of the St. Christopher Catholic Newman Center at Kutztown University, acting as house master for a year. Edward was also a 2nd degree knight with the Knights of Columbus. He was an active and adventurous young man with many interests such as competitive swimming, music, playing the piano, writing poetry, skateboarding, hiking, and biking. Above all he had a heart of gold and positively impacted many people's lives. Predeceased by his grandparents Bernard and Monica Cunningham. Survivors: Parents, Edward Jr. and Monica Olearczyk of Allentown, two sisters, Emily and Margaret Olearcyzk of Allentown, Grandparents, Edward Sr. and Veronica Olearczyk of Hellertown, 17 cousins, and several aunts and uncles. Services: Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Friday, August 14, 2014 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexer Avenue, Allentown with a visitation at the church prior from 10-11AM. A calling period will be held 4-8 PM on Thursday at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th and Hamilton Streets, Allentown. Interment is at St. Mary's Stony Hill Cemetery, Watchung, NJ.
