Edward Pearson

Pearson, Edward Edward Pearson, 90, of Springtown died March 25, 2014 in Phoebe Richland Health Care Center, Richlandtown. He was the husband of Dorothy (Marauchoc) Pearson. They were married 68 years last July. Born in Haycock, he was the son of the late Edwin & Amanda Pearson. He was last employed at the former Riegel Paper Mill in Riegelsville. Edward was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed watching the Phillies. He was an active lifetime member of the Silver Creek Athletic Association in Springtown. He also enjoyed family, friends, and picnics. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving during WWII. Survivors: In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons Edward J. (Nadine), and David (Michele). A daughter Gloria. A brother Russell, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren. Predeceased by a daughter Robin Kunsman and four sisters. Services: Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951.
