Edward J. Roche

Edward J. Roche, 66, of Allentown, passed away on Friday June 2,2023. He was the loving husband of Cindy A. (Lauer) Roche, and they celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary this passed January. Born in Duryea, Pa, Edward was the son of the late Joseph and Netty (Russell) Roche. He was a past member of Sacred Heart Church in Duryea. Edward worked as a machine operator for 30 years for the Walgreens Distribution Center before his retirement. He certainly was a workaholic, after retirement Edward worked as a usher for the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs, he also worked at Wendy's and Endicott Johnson for more than 20 years at both places. He and his wife loved bowling on double dates with friends. Surviving Edward is his wife Cindy are their children Jennifer, Jamie, and Jeremy. Grandchildren: Brianna, Tamika, and Thomisana. Additionally he is survived by his siblings Frank Roche, Elaine Dolan, and Clara Wyler, and many nieces and nephews. Edward was preceded in death by his siblings Joe, Katie and Theresa. A memorial service will be celebrated on Thursday June 8, 2023 at 12:30pm in the O'Donnell Funeral Home, Allentown. Calling will be from 11:00-12:30pm in the Funeral Home. Additionally, a second memorial service will be held on Thursday June 8, 2023 at 7:00pm in the Funeral Home with a calling hour from 5:30-7:00pm.
