Elizabeth J. Bobbin

1933 - 2022

Elizabeth J. "Rose" (Raiwski) Bobbin, 88, formerly of Maple Street, Allentown, died Friday, January 21, 2022 at DevonHouse Assisted Living, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Francis J. Bobbin who died in 2007. Born in Nanticoke, August 30, 1933, Rose was the daughter of the late Francis John Raiwski and Elizabeth (Scholl) Raiwski Gwaizdowski. She was employed as a loan officer at the former AB Bellco Credit Union in Allentown for 20 years before retiring. Rose was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Allentown. She was a life member of Northern Valley EMS where she formerly volunteered her time. Rose loved to play bingo. Participating in a bowling leaque for many years, she served as League President and won first-place two consecutive years. Her family, especially her grandchildren brought her great joy. Rose and her late husband, Francis participated in the Bell Telephone Pioneers Special Olympics. Rose indicated in a written note, shewill miss her family immensely and will be watching from the Heavenly realm.

Survivors: Children, Terry Bobbin (Patricia) of North Carolina, Scott Bobbin (Amanda) of Malta, Kathy L. Troxell (Carey) of Slatington, Bryan K. Bobbin (Brenda) of Royersford, Patti A. Hutchinson of Quakertown; step brother, Benjamin Gwiazdowski of Naticoke; step-sister, Marilee Reed of Texas; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; predeceased by siblings, Gabrielle Anthony, Joan Baker, John Gwaizdowski.

Service: A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 1046 West Cedar Street, Allentown. No public calling hours.
