Elizabeth Lehman
Elizabeth Lehman, 82, of King of Prussia formerly of Quakertown died December 6, 2010 in Manor Care of King of Prussia. She was the wife of the late Edward H. Lehman. Born in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late Horace and Emma (White) McIlvaine. She was a self-employed artist and administrator for the former Ed Lehman Studios. Elizabeth was a professional dancer and instructor for the Arthur Murray Dance Studio & TV show which is where she met her late husband Edward who was her student. She attended Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia, and won several art awards locally and regionally. She was a former member of First United Church of Christ Quakertown where she was a former Sunday school teacher and youth fellowship director. Survivors: She is survived by a son, John G., of Boone, NC; two daughters, Barbara G., of King of Prussia and Patricia A. Awyan, and her husband, Yousef, of Giza, Egypt; and a sister, Jean Christopher, of Newtown Square, PA. Services: Will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., (www.crstrunk.com), 821 W. Broad St., Quakertown. Call Thursday 1 to 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to First United Church of Christ Youth Fellowship Program, 151 S. 4 St., Quakertown, PA 18951.
