Ella Mae Martin, 76, of Freemansburg, died Saturday, March 25, 2006 at St. Lukes Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of Frank A. Martin. Born in Lower Saucon Township on May 8, 1929, she was the daughter of the late John J. Jr. and Martha E. (Mindler) Leith. Ella Mae worked as a seamstress at the former Perfect Brassiere Factory in Bethlehem. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Hellertown. She was also a member of the Freemansburg Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary where she was past president and past treasurer. Survivors: In addition to her husband of 58 years she is survived by a son: Robert W. and his wife, Vicki of Bethlehem Township; sister, Gladys L., wife of Merrit Seifert of Hellertown; twin granddaughters, Tina and Ashley and a great-granddaughter, Alexus. She was predeceased by a daughter, Rose Mary and brothers, Chester and Maynard. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street, Hellertown. Family and Friends are invited to call 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment to follow services at the Union Cemetery of Hellertown. Expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmanfh.com. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Freemansburg Fire Company, 600 Monroe St. Freemansburg, 18017.
