A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 10:30 A.M. at Bethany United Methodist Church 1208 Brookside Road Wescosville. A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, from 9:30 AM to10:30 AM in the church Arrangements by J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, Allentown. Condolences may be offered at: www.jsburkholder.com

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. I saw Ellen at our Nham HS reunion last summer and as we chatted I realized she was the same sweet, kind and loving person that I knew in HS. My condolences to Sandy.

Dennis, Derek and Devon. My sympathies in the loss of your wife and mother. She was such a sweet person. I ran across her a few times in recent years and she updated me on her children. I was their bus driver for elementary school.

Dear Dennis, Derek, and Devon, My thoughts and prayers are with you. Ellen was a beautiful person, inside and out. Ellen was a life long friend of mine and we had shared so many good times together. I will always remember her smile, our talks, her kindness, her faith, and how gentle and sweet she always was. She loved her family deeply. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you. I was so priveledged to know Ellen! Always smiling and kind. I will miss her little giggle and smile are etched in my heart and mind. She so loved the Lord and we know she is out of pain, maybe eating a hamburger(?!?!) but she will be so missed! Our thoughts and prayers go out to you.

Prayers and my deepest condolences go out to her family! I had the opportunity to do her hair for years and talk about our children, camping, our puppies and last but not least chocolate chip cookies! I will miss her so much and hearing about all her adventures and stories! So deeply sad, such a beautiful woman inside and out!

This is so sad...I worked with Ellen at Bethlehem Smiles for almost fifteen years. She was kind, quiet, and always played by the rules. She was so concerned with everyone and just wanted people to have faith in the Lord. There is no doubt that this woman whom I can call a friend, made it to heaven. She was a wonderful colleague and human being. My heart breaks for her husband Dennis and her two children Derek and Devon. She will surely be missed. God got himself an angel for sure. May we all find peace with her passing. God bless
