Frank P. Sarko Jr.

Frank P. Sarko, Jr., 71 of Bethlehem, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023 in his home. He was the husband of Sandra L. (Bertsch) Sarko to whom he was married 48 years. Born in Bethlehem, on August 24, 1951, Frank was the son of Frank P. Sarko, Sr., of Bethlehem and the late Elizabeth (Snyder) Sarko. He was employed at the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation, in the Rolling and Combo Mills Department for about 28 years. Post his formal retirement, Frank was worked at Kraft Foods in Fogelsville and Northampton Community College in the Maintenance Department. He was a social member of the former Old River Road Fire Company (Eastern Salisbury Fire Department) and competed in dart and shuffle board leagues throughout the Lehigh Valley. Frank was a member of Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Eastern Salisbury. A true beach lover, Frank enjoyed fishing and boating with his wife, Sandra on Rehoboth Bay in Delaware. Additionally, Frank loved to watch the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies.

Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Sandra and father, Frank; brother, Wayne T. Sarko and his wife, Priscilla; godson, Ryan Sarko and his wife, Susanna of West Virginia; brothers-in-law, Barry E. Bertsch and his wife, Denise of Fogelsville, Scott R. Bertsch and his wife, Patty of Schnecksville; many nieces, nephews and extended family; best friends, Susan and Joe Parisi; beloved dogs, Sadie Grace and Mollie Bea; predeceased by brother, John Sarko.
